Learn more about how to connect your social media accounts to take advantage of this powerful tool.

Connect your accounts.

Step OneLogin to your OneBark account and navigate to My Brand, click 'Settings'

Step Two: Scroll down to "Social Media Connection" and authorize the social accounts that you'd like to use. To authorize, simply click the 'Connect with...' button. You'll be asked to log in, so be sure that you have full access to the account that you wish to connect.

For Facebook you'll need Page access. For LinkedIn you'll need Company Page permissions. For Twitter you'll need to have access to the Twitter User Account and for GMB (Google My Business you'll need access to your Google Business Listing.

Start Posting!

Once you've connected the accounts that you wish to use, you can start posting content quickly and easily straight from OneBark.

Step One: Click on the green '+ Add Content' button that appears at the top of the OneBark dashboard. Then click 'Social Media Posts'.

Step Two: Create your post! You can write the content of your post, add pictures, videos, and even use emojis in your post. With OneBark's Canva integration, you can create great graphics without ever leaving your dashboard.

Once you've created the post, you'll want to add a check mark next to the social accounts that you wish for the post to be shared on.

Please note that if you haven't connected one of your social media accounts then the checkbox for that platform will not appear. If you've added some content that one of the platforms does not allow, you won't be able to select that particular platform to publish your post on. For example...

  • Google My Business doesn't allow video posting. So if a video is added, the checkbox for Google will be deselected and greyed out.
  • Twitter doesn't allow more than 4 images. So if more than 4 images are attached to a post, then the checkbox for Twitter & Google will be deselected. (Google only allows 1 image.)

Note: Call to Action URL - The call to action is only available for Google My Business.

Step Three: Schedule your post! You can schedule your social posts on all the platforms that OneBark connects to.

Step Four: Select the date and time for when you would like your the post to go live on your social accounts. (There is a two month limit from the time the post is created, and we recommend scheduling the post out for at least one hour in the future.)

Final Step: Sit back and relax, you did it!
